According to the data of "China Automotive Parts Industry Development Report (2015-2016)" (hereinafter referred to as "Blue Book"), in 2015, China's automotive parts enterprises have realized a total of 3211.7 billion yuan in main business income and a total profit of 246.47 billion yuan, showing a trend of sustained and steady growth.
In addition, the initial formation of independent innovation system is also a bright spot in the development of China's spare parts industry. According to the data of R&D expenditure of 86 automobile parts listed companies in 2015, the total R&D investment of 86 companies is 13.214 billion yuan, which is 4.89% higher than that of 12.598 billion yuan in 2014. In terms of power assembly, Chinese independent brands have gradually mastered in-cylinder direct injection, turbocharging, high-pressure common rail and other technologies; in terms of transmission, independent brands have gradually realized the independent research and development and production of AT, DCT, CVT and other transmission, and some products have been successfully put into the market.

Therefore, at the R&D level, the integration of parts and components industry will develop in the direction of generalization, standardization, electronization, intellectualization, lightweight and so on."
Still facing the challenge of lack of core technology
"Although great progress has been made in the automotive parts industry, there are still many problems in the whole industry, such as large quantity, small scale and low level of industrialization. For example, key components such as electronic control can not be independently developed, and some key raw materials, original components and equipment of upstream basic industries still rely on imports. Shi Jianhua pointed out the existing problems and challenges in the development of China's spare parts industry. "Therefore, independent enterprises must reorganize, dynamically adjust the enterprise strategy, products and technology direction, re-examine the development path, and effectively evaluate the current situation and trends."
Indeed, although China has made remarkable achievements in industry scale and industrial chain coordination, the overall development of the industry is still lagging behind the whole vehicle, the lack of core technology and other issues still exist. Independent brand parts enterprises are facing a severe test.
Taking the automatic transmission industry as an example, most of the automatic transmission market in China is occupied by joint ventures and foreign-funded enterprises, and the market share of independent brands is small. Although DCT, AT, CVT and other automatic transmissions are developed and manufactured by relevant enterprises, some core components still need to be imported, and the reliability of the products listed still needs to be improved.
At the same time, self-owned parts and components enterprises adopt mergers and reorganizations, joint ventures, overseas mergers and acquisitions to accelerate the development of globalization. In the process of "going out", parts and components enterprises are also facing fierce competition and challenges. Ye Shengji, deputy secretary-general of the China Automobile Industry Association, said that there are many problems in going out of independent parts and components, which should be solved mainly from several aspects. The first is to improve product quality and reliability, the second is to upgrade and break through existing technologies, and the third is to integrate actual conditions and follow up relevant services.

Speeding up the Development of Emerging Parts Industry
As a new industry, new energy vehicle and intelligent network vehicle are gradually becoming an important part of the automotive industry. The industrialization process of relevant parts and components has been accelerated, and the product technology and reliability have been significantly improved. For example, new energy automotive parts have basically formed a power battery, motor, electronic control system-based industrial chain. Data show that in 2015, China's power lithium battery production reached 15.45 GWh, an increase of 277.67% year on year.
At the same time, the field of intelligent network automotive parts is also developing rapidly. Independent parts enterprises and IT enterprises have accelerated the layout, trying to seize the technological and market highs. "I don't think there is a big gap between home and abroad in the field of Intelligent Networked Auto, especially in the field of information technology and IT technology." Zhou Zhou, deputy general manager of China Academy of Automobile Engineering, said that independent parts enterprises are in a position to rapidly realize transformation and upgrading and develop corresponding products.
According to Chen Yudong, president of Bosch (China) Investment Co., Ltd., from the perspective of industry development, many IT enterprises have entered the whole vehicle and parts industry this year. It is generally believed that the automotive industry still has a lot of potential to tap, there are a lot of capacity available, there are many weak people to attack, and there are many strong people to catch up with. This also shows that the automotive parts industry has great potential for future development. Enterprises should do well in the present and meet the future. "Bosch has always believed that competition promotes enterprise progress and healthy development of the industry, so we very much welcome non-industry people to participate in the competition."
With the improvement of safety standards and requirements and the improvement of enterprise technology level, driving assistance technology has developed rapidly. A few independent brands and universities have begun to provide small-scale ADAS components for commercial vehicles, such as Eastern Soft Group, Tsinghua University and so on. Many international automobile manufacturers have announced the initial launch time of autopilot car is 2020~2025 years, it is clear that the future ADAS products will gradually become the vehicle standard. China's automobile enterprises also attach great importance to the market application of ADAS system. Many automobile factories plan to configure ADAS system in future new models. It is expected that in the next two or three years, ADAS system will enter the peak of use in self-brand vehicles.
The Blue Book points out that China will become the fastest growing country in the global automotive electronics market in the future, with a growth rate of at least 15%. It is expected that by the end of 2016, China's automotive electronics market will reach 500 billion yuan. At the same time, communication and entertainment system is the focus of automobile manufacturers in recent years. The development of embedded vehicle information system is particularly prominent. The penetration rate has increased by nearly 17 percentage points from 33% in 2010.
